Made a mistake but . . . it turned out to be a good one!

I wanted to purchase the Session FLEX Spray but mistakenly got the Session Spray. I have previously used FLEX spray and love it because of it's flexibility; however sometimes I'd wished it had stronger hold. Q: Session spray. I have been a user for 8 years and in the past 6 months, I’ve had 2 cans stop working. It’s extremely frustrating. I style my short hair spraying an area and then finger in texture, when I’ve achieved what I like, I give it a quick all over spray. what has changed in the product and what do I do to to get the spray to work. It’s extremely frustrating. Kevin Murphy is an investment to use, I cannot continue spending for a 1/2 can of product. Please advise.
