Beauty, wellness, health, hair care — it’s not easy to start a new routine. And when it comes to new concepts like scalp care, it’s normal to feel completely lost. Taking the guesswork out of what your scalp needs, we’ve designed a routine for you. Now, you just have to follow it.

Scalp Care 101

Does it fall into skincare? Is it considered hair care? With a host of benefits for both the condition of the skin on your scalp and the health of your hair, technically we could argue that scalp care is both. This is why choosing products that look to advances in skincare is key when creating a scalp care routine.

Enter: SCALP.SPA — a range of high-performance scalp products with the best ingredients in science and nature to look after the health of both your scalp and strands.

Common Scalp Problems and How Hair Care Can Make a Difference

While scalp issues like irritation, tenderness, an overly oily or dry scalp, flakes, or itching are common symptoms, there are other indicators like limp strands or oily hair that can also be consequences of poor scalp health. Daily stressors like hard water and product buildup, heat damage, or even the change in weather can agitate these issues throughout or in targeted areas. This is why choosing a routine that fits your exact needs, lifestyle, and time constrictions is key. By using targeted hair care products proven to ease irritation, soothe skin, solve dry or oily scalps, and exfoliate buildup, you’ll notice an improved feel in both the skin on your scalp and your hair from root to tip.

How to Keep Your Scalp Healthy

Paying attention to how often you wash your hair, the need for exfoliation and massage, and the quality of products you place on your scalp are key to keeping it healthy. This is where a SCALP.SPA routine is critical. They are made to work together, but are equally effective on their own — so start with a single product or the entire range to upgrade your scalp care routine.

STEP 1: Pre-Shampoo Treatments

Manual exfoliation is one of the best ways to remove buildup, stimulate a sluggish scalp, and purify the scalp and strands. As the first step in the routine, this pre-wash scalp exfoliator (which can also double as a body scrub) uses Perlite to gently scrub away impurities, while Micellar Water and Celery Seed Extract remove excess oils, hydrate and soothe the scalp.

If your scalp is sensitive, this luxurious treatment foam will be your new favourite indulgence. A masque that gets applied to the hair before you wash, it helps relieve sensitive scalps with Hyaluronic Acid while also gently clearing away impurities with Carrot Root and Celery Seed Extract. Try adding it to your routine once a week by itself or with other SCALP.SPA products for a nourishing treat.

STEP 2: In The Shower

The ideal product to follow the exfoliating properties of the scrub, this WASH treats the scalp as it purifies the hair with Micellar Water, Celery Seed Extract, and Rose Water. Following this shampoo, continue with your normal WASH, RINSE, or MASQUE to notice a soothed scalp and more balanced moisture levels.

STEP 3: After Shampooing & Conditioning

Apply it all over or spot treat your problem areas, this leave-on serum delivers endless benefits whether your scalp feels itchy, irritated, or dry. Formulated with moisturising Celery Seed Extract and calming Rose Flower and Lavender Oils to restore balance, it can be applied to damp or dry hair as often as needed.

If you don’t already have a scalp brush, we highly suggest investing in one. Whether you need a mid-day pick-me-up or you want to enhance your SCALP.SPA routine with a gentle massage — this ergonomic brush helps enhance your entire routine.
