Story
Hello, we are Snip Salon and Gallery. We are a local hair salon inspired by local artists of all mediums, including painters, sculptors, and photographers. As a hair stylist, as a local hair artists, we've wanted to give back to the local artist community. We provide various artists space in our salon to show their skills. Selling and giving various artists a chance to show their visions to the public. We host biannual art walks that includes 30+ artists, food trucks, and live music, bringing local art to our community. It's inspiring as an artist to see others put so much of themselves in their work as we do when we create styles that are rich in color and expressive with texture and movement. Periodically throughout the year we invite local artists to paint live as well as give art classes while the salon is operating.

Timing
I have been a self employed stylist since 2009 and opened my own salon, Snip Salon and Gallery, in 2018. We held an art walk every spring and fall since we opened and have continually provided our walls to local artists year round.
