This is our Story
Since 2014 we have been proudly recognised as a patented Green Salon. However our journey started several years before when we made the conscious and active decision to save our planet.
When we embarked on establishing the new salon back in 2014, it was of the upmost importance to create a welcoming and homely feel that was focused around an eco-friendly space for our team and clients.
In addition to the photovoltaics solar panels installed on the roof of the salon, and the reclaimed bamboo used for the flooring, when furnishing the salon extra attention was paid to the use of eco-friendly and sustainable equipment. We pride ourselves in working with only high quality performing products such as Kevin Murphy and Color.Me. This allows us to ensure that our salon delivers on quality while leaving an eco-friendly footprint .
As a green salon, not only is our energy sources obtained emission-free, we always thrive to incorporate energy-saving equipment and operate in a sustainable manner day by day through careful management of out resources. Our journey continues as we seek to continuously lower our environmental impact. We believe that for the success of the Salon to live up to green status, it is vitally important that the team is well-educated.
We have a number of exciting projects lined up, one of which is the #climateofchange in collaboration with forum for international development and planning in Karlsruhe.
Our story started 2014. It has taken place over the last years and still continuous. We only have one planet and it is our responsibility to take care of it and make a change. Every step we take, we make a choice. Our choice at StyleLab is to lower our environmental impact to the maximum. Within the last few years we saved over 21 tonnes of CO2 emissions which is equivalent to over 600 planted trees. However more can still be done and must be done. To this end we are committing our resources to help counteract deforestation within Europe through the support of local planting and forest saving projects in the south of Germany.
