Styles To Look Forward To: The Trends Spotted at CPHFW SS25

Fashion usually follows a slower paced progression than hair and beauty. However, while some parallels can be seen to past seasons, the movements shown at the SS25 shows for Copenhagen Fashion Week promise to deliver a new wave of inspiration. Whether you plan to completely recreate the looks or opt to borrow a single detail from the shows, everything from the wardrobes to the hairstyles will lend a fresh take on how to upgrade your style this season.

With a pop of colour, copper has the ability to bring a sense of joy. The elevated shade can range from popular brown-red tones seen in Cowboy Copper to softer pastel takes with a blushing effect or even neutral depths for a natural copper aesthetic.

A blend of chaotic individuality and shared rebellion, the hair for Deadwood was as unique as each model and featured an eclectic mix of random twists, stitches, and braids adorned with unexpected accessories like safety pins and metal bottle tops. Keeping with the theme, hair was made to look deliberately dirty with a matte finish thanks to a mix of POWDER.PUFF, HAIR.RESORT, EASY.RIDER, and TOUCHABLE. 

Continuing the layered movement, Lovechild 1979 featured a similar vibe but with a more subtle effect. The SS25 collection brought out billowy fabrics and peeks of pieces that enhanced the total look. A mix of soft tones with everything from mint to cream and luxe pieces featuring caramel browns, pinstripe blue and black that waxed and waned based on the thickness and variety of the fabric. All in all, the goal was a blend of relaxed sophistication and understated elegance which was echoed in the hair with an elegant face-framing finish KEVIN.MURPHY's SESSION.MASTER Massimo Morello and his team created.

Hair was sleek at the roots with a polished, tucked-behind-the-ear finish that was meant to be the quintessential "Copenhagen Girl" – relaxed, effortlessly cool, and always polished. With soft, natural waves for an undone feel ANTI.GRAVITY.SPRAY and SESSION.SPRAY FLEX were essential for creating the look. Which were then finished with BEDROOM.HAIR for an airy yet shiny feel that created a balance between movement and texture.

More than just a collection, the Vibskov show was an experience. Which ultimately helped express a fluidity that needed to be felt throughout his designs. Prints were bold and complex — not the typical choice for spring, but something we think everyone will gladly jump on board with.
