“‘Best Day Ever’ is a joy-based community mutual aid program, we produce quarterly pop-ups that serve Seattle’s unhoused population, providing haircuts, lunch, coffee, treats, clothing, an opportunity to be creative with art, hygiene and other supplies necessary and access to providers and other organisations that help our houseless friends.
We approach this work with a bread and roses ethos, we are holistic and heart forward, and believe that to truly thrive - we must provide the soul with more than just basic needs. I have been working for almost two years on this project and am looking forward to its expansion and growth potential. We are expanding to another location this year and will be providing even more opportunities for those without means to access services that are typically only available to economically mobile folk.
